Decluttering is an incredibly liberating experience, offering a fantastic chance to make a positive impact on the environment by avoiding landfill and waste. It's no wonder that pre-loved clothing is loved by so many and with Australia being the words biggest buyer of fast fashion its time to make a change.

"So, how do we differ from all the other pre-loved stores? We absolutely adore supporting our local Lefevre Peninsula community, and guess what? We don't charge a sellers rack rate or rental fee! All items are sold on commission, which means if your items don't sell, you won't be left out of pocket. 

And for all you eager buyers out there, you might also stumble upon some truly amazing pieces to enhance your own wardrobe!  

When bringing your items into our store we kindly request that you carefully select your clothing, taking into consideration the current season.

Terms and Conditions 

Thank you for choosing Clever Little Picnic as your preferred platform for selling your pre-loved clothing. We pride ourselves on offering a seamless and hassle-free experience for our valued customers. In addition to our general terms and conditions set out on our  terms and conditions page on our website, you acknowledge and agree to the following preloved clothing terms and conditions.

Quality standards 
We only accept pre-loved clothing. We will not accept any jewellery, undergarments, swimwear or accessories. All items must be clean and ironed.

We will not accept items that are:
Damaged (including clothing which has rips, stains, marks, missing buttons and pulled threads/seams); showing excessive signs of wear (including clothing which has deteriorated fabric, pilling, stretching or fading); odorous (including clothing which is musty, mouldy, smelling of other strong odours such as perfume and cigarette smoke); or showing offensive words or images on the clothing. Fast fashion brands or those that do not have a good re-sell value such as temu and  Kmart. 

Rental period

We accept items for two months. Dependant on schedule. 

Pricing
At Clever Little Picnic, we operate on a commission basis which means you do not have to pay any rack rental fees or upfront costs. We will simply deduct a reasonable percent from the selling price of each item as well as minimal processing fee. 
If you prefer not to determine the prices yourself, we can assist you in this regard. By doing so, you agree to accept the amounts we choose as our aim is to ensure that items are reasonably priced and affordable for our local community. We will not notify you of the prices although you are welcome to come into our store and view the prices for yourself.

Payment
On acceptance of clothing we require your bank details for payments.
We will notify you of any sales at the end of each month. Month 1 and Month 2.  Please note that if you have not made any sales, we will not contact you.
We will transfer the funds directly to your nominated bank account monthly and at the conclusion of your rental period.

Collection of unsold items
Upon the conclusion of your rental period, it is your responsibility to collect any unsold clothing. Any clothing items not collected after fourteen (14) business days will become Clever Little Picnic’s property and may be:
donated to charity; or sold at the store’s discretion.

Risk, Liability and Warranty
You warrant and represent that the items you sell in our store are not stolen or the property of another individual.
We will do our best to keep your items safe whilst in our store, however we will not be responsible or liable for any damaged, lost or stolen items, including any damage resulting from customer handling, fire, water, acts of war, terrorism or any acts of God.

To sell your clothing, please contact us via email to request a consignment form. We will then negotiate a time to drop into our store along with your items. We cannot accept your consignment without a signed consignment form.
